Global Citizen Now 2023

Global Citizen is a movement of engaged citizens who are using their collective voice to end extreme poverty via massive global campaigns that amplify the actions of individuals, organizations, and governments. Global Citizen Now 2023 was the second of an annual summit that convenes global leaders, activists and celebrity partners to set actionable agendas on issues like climate change, famine, and inequality. 

This year featured a remote contribution by Emmanuel Macron which was streamed live onto a large LED wall in New York. The scale of which necessitates a system with high resolution capture, and supporting bandwidth for cross-continent, bidirectional transmission. Ultimately this allowed the team in France to have an equally clear image of New York, plus mix-minus audio.

On April 26th and 27th, the event was streamed to several platforms including MSNBC, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Additionally, our live edit infrastructure fed the camera feeds into six real time edit machines for immediate turn around on social media.
